Cafeteria style food. Had the paneer butter masala and some veggie curry with coconut milk. Food was lukewarm. Paneer was extremely firm. Was edible. The veggie curry was not. Sauce had kinda separated and it just was not tasty. It had green beans, red peppers, onions. It was just a strange combination and didn't taste good. The rice also had a strange sticky texture. I was hungry but couldn't finish it. Would not recommend.

I LOVE this place! I’m so glad I found it. The portions are incredibly generous, especially for the price, so it feels like such a great value. If it’s your first time here, don’t be shy about asking for samples! It’s the perfect way to find your favorite dish—you really can’t go wrong because everything tastes amazing. The jackfruit is my second favorite, but the chickpea daal still takes the top spot. The chickpea daal is my absolute favorite—it’s so comforting and flavorful. And the samosas? Absolutely to die for. They come with both a green and a red sauce, and I’m obsessed with the green one. It’s packed with flavor with just the right amount of kick. Honestly, the samosas make the perfect snack to grab before heading to the beach. The restaurant itself is spacious and smells amazing the moment you walk in. The large windows let in plenty of natural light and the beach breeze, giving the whole place such a relaxed vibe. It feels cozy and welcoming—like you’re stopping by your grandparents’ house for a home-cooked meal. Parking is easy too. There’s plenty of street parking, metered spots nearby, and even a paid parking lot directly across the street.

OMG, this place is a hidden gem. If you're visiting Santa Monica Beach and craving Indian food, you have to try this restaurant. The food is very affordable and they have an amazing variety . There was no wait when we visited. They offer different combo thalis ( 3 combo thali and 2 combo thali)with your choice of bread and either soup or raita. We tried two different thalis and everything was fresh and flavorful. The jackfruit curry and bhindi were outstanding. The smoky dal was absolutely delicious, also the paneer and kofta were also very good. One of the best parts was watching them make fresh garlic naan right in front of us. We also ordered the masala dosa, which arrived within 8 minutes. It was perfectly crispy and the sambar was my favorite. The only small problem was that a few of the potatoes in the dosa masala were slightly undercooked. We had pani puri and chai too. The pani puri came with eight puris and the flavorful cilantro-infused pani made it incredibly refreshing. The chai was delicious perfect less sugar, perfect for me and they filled the cup all the way to the top, which every chai lover will enjoys Overall, we had an excellent experience. The staff was warm a
